Changes to This Policy

As with all of our other policies, we may change our money back guarantee policy at any time. This may occur without prior notification. However, when possible we will attempt to communicate that a change has been made. Each customer who has an order in process is held to the version of this policy that existed when they submitted their order. The exception to this is when a change has been made due to regulatory, legal, or safety issues. In these cases, the changes are effective immediately for all.

Application of Refunds And Credits

If you qualify for a refund or credit under out  money back guarantee policy, we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your reimbursement in a timely manner. If you are entitled to a credit to be used towards future purchases at Hot Essay Service, that amount will be applied to your customer account immediately.

If you are due a refund, we will follow the refund procedures that apply to the method of payment you selected when you placed your order. All refunds will be processed by us within 5 to 7 business days. However, please keep in mind that after we submit the request, we do not have control over the amount of time it will take your bank, credit card carrier, or PayPal to process the refund on your end.

Refunds Vs. Credits

It is up to the discretion of our staff to determine whether or not it is appropriate to give a refund or credit in any given situation. Please understand that although we may use the terms interchangeably, there is not guaranteed that you will receive a refund over a credit.

Cancelled Orders

Please ensure that orders are cancelled as quickly as possible in order to maximize your chance of receiving a refund. If you cancel your order quickly and we have not assigned a writer, we will simply process a refund request. Otherwise you will receive a prorated refund or credit depending on the amount of work that has been completed. If the project is more than half completed, you may not qualify for a refund or credit.

Inability to Complete an Order

If your writer has a personal emergency and is unable to complete your order, we reserve the right to reassign your order to another writer. If we are unable to find another writer you will be entitled to a refund.

Gross Mistakes

Most errors are minor as well as being few and far between. In spite of this, we do recognize that there may be situations where a writer’s mistakes or misunderstanding of instructions result in a paper that cannot be revised in time. When this happens it is our policy in these cases to offer up a full refund.

Inability to Assign an Order

As is the case with cancelled orders, if we cannot find someone to work on your paper, you will receive a full refund. You will also be given the option of delaying your order, however you are not obligated to do so.

Duplicate Orders

Our system does not allow the same order to be submitted twice. We have safeguards in place that require you to enter in order information each time you place an order.  If you believe you have accidentally made a duplicate order, please contact us immediately. We will verify that this has happened and take appropriate action.

Double Billing

Our system is designed to ensure that double billing does not happen. If you do see a duplicate charge on your statement, please forward all information to us. We will pass it on to our finance department. They will then investigate to ensure you did not overpay. If you have overpaid, you will be given a refund.

Originality And Academic Honesty

We firmly guarantee that all documents you receive from us are completely original  and custom-written just for you. We have never had any allegation that our writing was anything less than original. Further, we double check all copy for originality.

In the event that a customer does allege that they have received a paper that is not original, the claim will be thoroughly investigated, and the accuser will be expected to provide evidence. If we do find the allegation to be valid, we will immediately issue a full refund. In addition to this, any staff members involved in the dishonesty will be dismissed immediately.
